How do you tell human text from assisted text on this page?
The distinction here is not a wall. the free tool returns a signal per passage: some passages pull toward very even prose, others toward a mark of human edit You read both and choose the conversation There is no “pure human” report.
How to do it in three steps
Bring the disputed text with its context: email, report, essay, product description. Different genres do not share the same reading.
- Paste at least 20 characters. The whole paragraph is better than the opening sentence.
- Look at the passages. A high and low swing in the same text is often an edit, a quotation or a pasted source. A single badge at the top hides that.
- Ask the author for the origin. Ask for a draft. The page does not claim that a person exists or that a machine wrote. Calibration is more stable on formal English prose.
What to expect: formats, size and time
