How do you use a detector for machine-assisted text?

How to do it in three steps
Text that is too short does not go in: the minimum is 20 characters. A working paragraph, an essay, a long email fit better than a single sentence.
- Paste the text into the tool. No file, no photo, no OCR. Text only.
- Read the verdict and the passages. Each passage carries a signal. Formal manual prose is a different object from a diary entry: this page's calibration is more stable on formal English prose.
- Use the signal as a question, not as a sentence. If the text is a student's, talk. If the text is a vendor's, ask for the source. The tool does not name an author and does not measure “how much machine”.
What to expect: formats, size and time

The visible product calibration is for English prose and formal documentation. Portuguese text goes in; the signal remains a signal, not a report. Mixed text, a long quotation and automatic translation confuse any passage-level reading.
