Vocal in a song
How do you take the vocal out of a song without a studio?
Taking the vocal out here means splitting the singing from the accompaniment in a file you already have. The free tool accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG or WebM up to 15 MB and returns WAV to play and download.
How to do it in three steps
The page offers voice isolation and noise cleaning. To “take the vocal out of the song”, use isolation: the vocal stem on one side, the rest of the arrangement on the other. It is not a studio with dozens of stems; it is the split that fits in one file.
- Pick the song file in an accepted format, up to 15 MB. Clips fit better than a whole album: the free page is not a disc renderer.
- Select voice isolation and send. Time depends on size and load. There is no fixed clock. When the allowance is gone the page asks for an account; when the engine is busy it tells you to try again.
- Listen to the result and download the WAV. If the vocal leaked into the instrumental or the instrumental leaked into the vocal, the arrangement was too glued — a duet on the same mic, heavy reverb, an old master. Another clip, another file, not another magic click.
What to expect: formats, size and time
Input formats: MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG, WebM. Cap at 15 MB. Output as WAV. The page does not read a score, does not fetch a platform URL and does not process video: extract the audio first.
A file larger than 15 MB is rejected in the browser. The free allowance is daily. Time varies. Isolation is not a “perfect studio stem”: voice and instrument that share a band in the master will leak into each other. The tool does not invent a stem the file does not have.
When to use the paid API
When taking the vocal out becomes a catalogue step: folder of tracks, queue, WAV written to the product disk. The API receives the audio and returns the isolation. Account and key at /products and /pricing.
One song to rehearse today: free page. A library for karaoke, remix or class: API. The page is not the lot.
Frequently asked questions
Does the tool download the song from a link?
No. You upload a file that is already on your disk. A platform link does not go in.
Is the result an MP3?
The download from this page is WAV. Convert afterwards if your player requires MP3.
Can I remove only the backing vocal?
Isolation treats the vocal as one stem. A choir glued in the master does not come out as a separate stem. If the backing is mixed in, it leaks.
Can I send an MP4 clip?
No. Extract the audio to an accepted format, up to 15 MB, and send the audio.
